Bruce Brown played a key role in the Denver Nuggets winning it all this season, and although he won’t be staying in Colorado, he will be able to build some exceptional generational wealth.
As free agency opened across the league on Friday, he agreed to a two-year, $45 million contract with the Indiana Pacers, and it is a deal that will pay him three times what he has earned so far in the NBA, as noted by Bobby Marks.

Over the last couple of seasons, Brown has blossomed into a legitimate 3-and-D wing who can also provide some ball-handling and facilitating when needed for his team.
He averaged 11.5 points a game while shooting 48.3 percent overall and 35.8 percent from 3-point range in the regular season, and he had several big games in Denver’s magical playoff run.
In Game 4 of the NBA Finals versus the Miami Heat, he went 8-of-11 from the field and scored 21 points as his team took a 3-1 series lead.
In the second round against the Phoenix Suns, his 25-point outburst in Game 5 helped the Nuggets take control of that series and set up their big Game 6 closeout victory.
In Indiana, Brown will join Tyrese Haliburton, Myles Turner, and Buddy Hield to try to form a competitive team moving forward for a franchise that has struggled for years.
