Forward Tyler Bertuzzi has signed a one-year, $5.5 million deal with the team toronto maple leafs on Sunday

Bertuzzi, 28, had 30 points (eight goals, 22 assists) in 50 games last season for the Detroit Red Wings and Boston Bruins. In seven playoff games for Boston, Bertuzzi has 10 points (five goals, five assists).

Bertuzzi, a second-round pick by the Red Wings in 2013, has 218 points (92 goals, 126 points) in 326 games in seven seasons with the Red Wings and Bruins.
