The Cleveland Cavaliers have made some solid additions to their squad during NBA free agency so far, with the team bringing in Max Strus and Georges Niang as well as re-signing Caris LeVert.

It’d be safe to say that the team has improved by making these moves, but Cleveland might not be done yet in their efforts to upgrade their roster this summer, with a trade or two potentially on the horizon.

ESPN’s Brian Windhorst hinted at the Cavaliers possibly working on something big this summer but refused to say which player or players they’d be targeting or what players might be leaving as part of a deal.

NBA Insider Marc Stein may have added a bit more context to Windhorst stirring the pot in Cleveland, as he claims the Cavaliers might be considering trading center Jarrett Allen via NBA Central.

Allen was exposed during the NBA playoffs, as he couldn’t contend with Mitchell Robinson during the first-round series against the New York Knicks.

Although there’s no doubt that Allen is a talented player, he may not be what the team needs to get the best of a team like the Knicks in the postseason, which makes him expendable moving forward and potentially leading to his departure.

It’ll be interesting to see if there’s any truth to the Cavaliers considering making a move this summer in order to be able to compete with the best of the best in the Eastern Conference and if Allen is the player that could be moved.
