Leandro De Niro Rodriguez, one of Robert De Niro’s grandsons, has died. He is 19 years old.
Rodriguez is the son of De Niro’s daughter Delena De Niro, who announced her son’s death in an Instagram post Sunday night: “My beautiful and lovely angel,” she wrote. “From the moment I felt you in my belly, I have loved you beyond words or description. You have been my joy, my heart, and everything in my life that has ever been pure and true. I hope I am here with you now. I wish I could have been with you then. I don’t know how to live without you, but I will try to keep spreading the love and light you made me feel when you were your mom. You are deeply loved Loving and appreciating, I hope only love can save you. I’m so sorry my baby. I’m so sorry. Rest in peace in eternal heaven my dear child.”
The cause of death has not been publicly confirmed.
Rodriguez and Delena De Niro play mother-son duo Paulette and Leo Stone in the 2018 film adaptation A star is born. they also appeared together in Collection (2005) and maxim cabaret show.
As for Robert De Niro, he recently welcomed his seventh child.
