Meet Me @ the Altar returns with their energetic new song “Give It Up.” It marks the debut of the CoSign alumni’s full-length upcoming deluxe edition, past, present, future, released on September 29. Live below.
On “Give It Up,” Meet Me @ the Altar taps into the loneliness of dealing with all the adversity that comes with growing up. “You see me standing here in tears,” sang singer Edith Victoria. “Looks like it’s getting harder every day / Why can’t you help me?”
“‘Give It Up’ is a song about frustration,” the band shared in a statement. “It’s a feeling of being lost and confused and indecisive. One of the great things about this song is that sometimes you need help figuring it out.” Meet Me @ the Altar went on to explain that the song “didn’t fit sonically” with the original tracklist. past, present, futureand said they hoped the deluxe edition would “give a glimpse of another side of us, bringing you a fresh, new and different sound.”
