The Kansas City Chiefs are coming off another magical season in which Patrick Mahomes and company were able to defy the odds after trading superstar wide receiver Tyreek Hill to dominate the competition in the AFC and win another Super Bowl title under head coach Andy Reid.

With another Vince Lombardi Trophy in the trophy case in Kansas City, Mahomes and his teammates are hoping to build a dynasty, as it’s not beyond the realm of possibility that this team will win another ring this season.

However, with dynasty implications and the added pressure of being a defending champion, things can go off the rails sometimes, and everyone will be there to see it.

That’s what happened this weekend with superstar tight end Travis Kelce losing his cool during a scrimmage in practice and swinging at some of his teammates on the defensive side of the football for being a bit too physical.

Kelce knows he was in the wrong for his actions, and as a leader, he has taken accountability by saying the following his Twitter account on Saturday.

Although it wasn’t a good look for Kelce, as some of those swings at his teammates were pretty violent and unnecessary, this is exactly the kind of response and reaction a team wants from a superstar player of his caliber.

Kelce shows his leadership and accountability with this tweet rather than making excuses or complaining about his teammates’ actions, as he knows it’s about the bigger picture and not about the individual when it comes to football.
