Back in November of 2014, then-New York Giants superstar wide receiver Odell Beckham Jr. had a catch for the ages, with the perennial Pro Bowler reaching as far back as he could to haul in a pass from veteran quarterback Eli Manning.

Beckham’s catch put him on the map in the NFL as being one of the best receivers in the league and a player that can do some incredible things on the field.

Although the Giants have never been able to replace Beckham at the wide receiver position as he’s simply one of a kind, safety Jason Pinnock pulled off something very similar during training camp but on the defensive side of the football.

The Giants took to Twitter on Sunday to show off the incredibly athletic feat of Pinnock picking the ball out of the air with one hand.

Pinnock is heading into his third season in the NFL and second with the Giants.

The University of Pittsburgh product is coming off his best season yet in the NFL, even though he was unable to record an interception during the 2022 campaign.

The 24-year-old safety had 34 solo tackles, 1.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, and three passes defended.

Obviously, these aren’t monster numbers for Pinnock, and he’s not going to turn many heads with these stats, but he’s clearly as athletic as they come and a player that just might need to get the right opportunity to show what he can do on the football field.
