Nick Wright Calls Out Bills For Lack Of Playoff Wins

Over the last few years, the Buffalo Bills have been one of the NFL’s best teams, and a year ago at this time, many were picking them to win the Super Bowl.

However, they have very little to show for all their talent.

Ever since Josh Allen took over as their starting quarterback in 2018, they have gotten to the AFC Championship Game only once, and they have exited in the Divisional round in each of the last two seasons.

Commentator Nick Wright pointed out how the Bills have a banner with the Vince Lombardi Trophy in their practice facility, and he says that actually winning that trophy could be an unrealistic expectation for them.

Last year, Buffalo looked strong, putting together an extended winning streak late in the season, and it looked like perhaps they were on their way to winning it all.

But they had to endure safety Damar Hamlin’s cardiac episode during a marquee matchup against the Cincinnati Bengals, and the incident seemed to take the wind out of their sails, as they were routed by those same Bengals in the playoffs.

Wright pointed out how the Bills didn’t upgrade their roster this offseason, plus the fact that star wide receiver Stefon Diggs is at odds with the team over some matter that isn’t clear.

Buffalo has never won the Super Bowl, and right now, it appears they aren’t close to getting over that hump and winning it all, especially with how competitive the AFC is.
