Klay Thompson Has A Message For The NBA Next Season

The Golden State Warriors couldn’t defend their crown last season.

Steve Kerr’s team struggled mightily on the road, couldn’t hold down the fort while Stephen Curry was out, and their overall chemistry was off, not to mention the now-infamous altercation between Draymond Green and Jordan Poole.

But that’s all water under the bridge now.

Poole is out of town, and the Warriors retooled and reshaped their roster with the addition of Chris Paul and some interesting pieces.

That’s why in his recent appearance on Paul George’s ‘Podcast P,’ Warriors star Klay Thompson fired a bold warning to the rest of the league, letting everybody know that they still got another ring in them.

Truth be told, it’s hard to put your money against a team that has been there and done that way too many times.

Their championship-core is together and healthy, and Andrew Wiggins shouldn’t miss half the season with personal issues.

Also, adding Chris Paul to that mix, even if he doesn’t fit their style, should make their second unit ten times better, not to mention the fact that their defense shouldn’t struggle as much as they did with the new pieces in town.

The Warriors aren’t the oddsmakers’ favorites to go the distance in the Western Conference, with the Phoenix Suns, Denver Nuggets, and even Los Angeles Lakers seemingly ahead of them right now.

But they have one of the best coaches in the game, the two greatest shooters of all time, an elite defensive-minded point forward, the best pure point guard in modern basketball, and arguably the best point guard ever, so you have to like their chances.
