Jordan Love has officially made his preseason debut for the Green Bay Packers as their starting quarterback.
His first performance yielded several highlight throws, which excited a large majority of the fanbase.
Love’s play also was a highlight for many of his teammates, including veteran David Bahktiari, who provided a legendary quote after the game.
Per Jeremy Fowler’s interview via Pro Football Network, Bahktiari said, “Now we actually have an athletic quarterback who can move around.”

This is a direct shot to Aaron Rodgers, who isn’t necessarily known for his athleticism.
While this comment was made in good fun, especially knowing Rodgers’ and Bahktiari’s relationship, it does bring up an interesting point about the Packers.
Love is seen as significantly more mobile than Rodgers.
This could tap into a much broader playbook, including some run-pass options that weren’t a part of the team’s makeup last season.
Analysts across the league are torn about the Packers.
Some believe they will not do well, a direct correlation from moving on from Rodgers.
However, others are under the impression that Love might just succeed in year one, proving his doubters wrong.
There is a lot to unpack with the Packers this season, and a lot of questions remain unanswered.
If Love is an adequate replacement, however, the offense might be able to thrive, albeit with a different look.
The Packers aren’t expected to win the NFC North, especially given the roster changes of the Chicago Bears and Detroit Lions.
Will they end up surprising the vast majority of sports media?
