Lance Lynn Comments On Playing For The Dodgers

Lance Lynn was one of the worst pitchers in baseball in 2023 when he was with the Chicago White Sox.

In 119.2 innings there, he had a putrid 6.47 ERA.

He just didn’t look like himself, considering he has a 3.68 career ERA.

However, the Los Angeles Dodgers took a chance on the track record and were willing to overlook his horrible 2023 performance.

They knew they could work with him to help him get back on track: nobody wants to run an ERA over 6.00.

Somewhat predictably, the Dodgers helped him rebound, and he has been so good in LA that he almost looks like the team ace.

“‘It’s been fun out here… especially pitching in front of the home crowd.’ Lance Lynn on his seven shoutout innings and his four starts with the #Dodgers,” SportsNet LA tweeted.

Lynn’s recent domination came against the Milwaukee Brewers late on Thursday.

He couldn’t get the win because Brewers right-hander and former Cy Young winner Corbin Burnes was just as good, but Lynn tossed seven scoreless frames with just four hits and a walk.

He also struck out three in the gem.

It’s crazy how different a pitcher can look by just switching organizations.

Of course, we have to consider the organizations involved: he went from a losing, underachieving squad to join an elite contender.

In four starts in Dodger blue, Lynn has a 1.44 ERA and a 0.88 WHIP in 25 frames.

Talk about a complete transformation!

With a rubber arm, experience, and a bulldog demeanor, we can expect Lynn to keep dominating in LA.
