There is plenty of hype surrounding the first-round rookies when they enter the NFL.
Outside of the quarterbacks, one of the top players that everyone wants to see is running back Bijan Robinson.
He is an elite running back prospect and should enter into a workhorse role with the Atlanta Falcons this year.
Robinson drew comparisons to Saquon Barkley coming out of college.
Being selected eighth overall brings plenty of hype and attention to him.
The rookie made his NFL debut in the preseason on Friday.
He carried the ball four times for 20 yards and caught one pass for six yards.
Falcons head coach Arthur Smith had high praise for the rookie after his first game.
According to Around the NFL, Smith said “He operated fast, it certainly didn’t look too big for him.”

Atlanta has been aggressive in adding star offensive players in the draft these past few years.
Over the past three drafts, they selected Kyle Pitts, Drake London, and Robinson.
Now all the Falcons need is quarterback Desmond Ridder to play at a high level.
Ridder has a great opportunity ahead of him this year to prove he is the long-term answer in Atlanta.
The Falcons will be fun to watch this season.
Also, they have a chance to compete in the NFC South.
It might be the worst division in football and one they are capable of winning.
For them to be as successful as they hope, Robinson will have to play a major role.
