Josh Jacobs Has 2-Word Reaction After Agreeing To New Deal

For months, the Las Vegas Raiders and Josh Jacobs have been in a staring contest as the two sides tried to come to terms on a new deal.

Jacobs was coming off his best season as a pro as he led the NFL in rushing yards and earned All-Pro honors.

His performance made a strong argument for him to land a lucrative long-term deal, though the Raiders decided to use the franchise tag on him instead.

Jacobs refused to sign the tag and decided to hold out from reporting for most of the offseason.

Las Vegas tried to come to terms on a multi-year deal with Jacobs and his camp in July, but those talks fell through and thus he continued to stay away from the team.

However, when news broke that Jacobs agreed to a one-year deal worth up to $12 million the Pro Bowler succinctly summed up his feelings via his Twitter account.

“I’m back,” Jacobs tweeted.

Because the Raiders failed to sign Jacobs to a multi-year deal in July, they were only allowed to offer a one-year contract.

However, with Jacobs agreeing to sign he is now eligible to report to the team and get himself ready for the 2023 season.

Suffice to say, having Jacobs back in the fold is great news for Las Vegas as he is one of the best running backs in the league and should be able to build on his success from last season.

Raiders fans can finally breathe a sigh of relief now that their star is officially back.
