Lana Del Rey shared a new music video for “Candy Necklace,” a collaboration with Jon Batiste, from her latest album, Did you know there’s a tunnel under Ocean Blvd?.
The 10-minute black-and-white clip, directed by Rich Lee, goes behind the scenes as Del Rey guides Hollywood stars, including Marilyn Monroe and Elizabeth Short (better known as the Black Dahlia). “I just don’t know how to not be a robot,” Del Rey said in a Monroe wig. “I just need to shoot, shoot, shoot. It just doesn’t work for me anymore.”
The dialogue spills right into Del Rey’s lyrics: “Sitting on the couch feeling super suicidal/Hate to say that word but baby put your hands on the bible I do/Feel like you let me down” Watch the video below.
