The Philadelphia Phillies have advanced out of the Wild Card round for the second straight season.
This season they did so out of the first Wild Card spot, meaning they got to play the whole Wild Card series at home.
Citizens Bank Park certainly looks like the best playoff atmosphere in all of baseball.
The Phillies players recognize what their fanbase brings to the table come playoff time.
They know they cannot have this much postseason success without them.
According to John Clark, Phillies outfielder Brandon Marsh talked about what the playoff atmosphere means to him.
Marsh said, “We love you guys. We go nowhere without you.”

The Phillies are used to celebrating after series wins.
They did so all of last year on their way to making the World Series.
Just like last season, the Phillies must go through the Atlanta Braves in the NLDS.
Last year, the Phillies took down the Braves in four games.
But, this year the Braves are much improved and looking for revenge.
Both teams are plenty good to represent the NL in the World Series.
Do not be surprised to see the winner of this series go all the way.
Only two of the five games are set to be played in Philadelphia this series.
That means the Phillies will need to win one of the first two in Atlanta to give themselves a chance to clinch at home.
In the playoffs, it is not always the best roster that wins.
It is the team that is playing the best at that time.
The Phillies hope they can keep the good times rolling into the next series.
