Former NBA Coach Makes A Telling Statement About Jordan Poole

The Golden State Warriors need someone to help Stephen Curry carry the load on offense.

Klay Thompson’s shot has been off in the past couple of games, and Draymond Green has never been much of a scorer.

However, Steve Kerr has seemed reluctant to give Jordan Poole a longer leash.

And, according to former NBA coach Stan Van Gundy, that has all been the player’s own fault.

Van Gundy criticized Poole’s body language throughout the series, and that has been a talking point for weeks now.

Poole handles himself like a superstar, and he’s getting paid as such, but he still needs to listen and be held accountable when his veterans reach out to him.

He ignored Curry and had an altercation with Green on the sidelines during their series versus the Sacramento Kings, and that’s obviously not helping his case.

Poole seemingly took a shot at Kerr for not playing him enough, stating that he’s not going to get into a rhythm if he’s not on the floor.

Nonetheless, the Warriors were still just a couple of buckets away from evening the series up, even though he was on the bench and went scoreless in 10 minutes.

The Warriors found success before Poole, and they’ve proven to be a resilient team.

They would most definitely love to have his offensive outbursts and contributions, but just like Van Gundy said, it’ll be up to him to change his attitude and be more humble to get out of Kerr’s doghouse with the season on the line.
