On Tuesday night, the 2023-24 NBA season will officially get underway, with two games on the schedule featuring some of the league’s elite teams.

The first game on Tuesday will take place in the Mile High City, with the defending NBA champion Denver Nuggets hosting LeBron James and the Los Angeles Lakers in a Western Conference Finals rematch.

After that heavyweight matchup concludes, the NBA shifts over to the Bay Area, with Stephen Curry and the Golden State Warriors hosting Kevin Durant and the reloaded Phoenix Suns.

Both of these games will be must-see TV for all basketball fans, even if they aren’t fans of these teams, as top-level basketball is expected to be played.

However, one of these two games could get a considerable boost if veteran forward Draymond Green is able to play against the Suns, as he is currently dealing with an ankle injury.

According to Kendra Andrews of ESPN, Green gave a minor status update on how he’s feeling ahead of the season opener.

Although Green says he’s not feeling 100% right now, a video surfaced earlier in the day of the veteran putting some work in on the practice floor, and he seemed to be moving quite well.

However, moving well on the practice floor with no opponents compared to taking on Durant and company in the season opener are completely different things.

It’ll be interesting to see if Green will be able to go against the Suns and how much of an impact his presence or absence will have on the game.
