Jaguars HC Reveals His Expectations After Great Start

While everybody’s talking about the Philadelphia Eagles, the Kansas City Chiefs, and the Miami Dolphins, the Jacksonville Jaguars are quietly sitting on a 6-2 record.

Moreover, Doug Pederson’s team has won most of its games in convincing fashion, so it doesn’t seem like this has been a fluke at all.

When asked about their great start, Pederson admitted that the team had a tough start to the season and it took them a while to get going, but he’s not surprised about having this record at this point in the season (via Michael DiRocco).

He stated that his players were also confident in their abilities to do something like this.

Some pundits chose the Jaguars as one of the biggest dark horses to come out of the AFC before the start of the season, and they’ve lived up to those expectations thus far.

The Jaguars have won four games on the road this season, being the only team that’s undefeated on the road.

They also won a home game in London, so one could make a case for them being 5-0 away from home.

Their only losses came against a Chiefs team with their backs against the wall — and it was quite a close game — and then an upset loss against the Houston Texans, a divisional rival.

The remainder of the schedule is quite favorable for the Jaguars.

Pederson’s team looks poised to run away with the division title again, and look out for this team in the postseason as well.
