Skip Bayless Makes Legendary Comparison For Joe Burrow

The Cincinnati Bengals are officially back.

The rest of the league had its chance to make the most of the time they were down, but that’s no longer the case.

Needless to say, most of that turnaround has been thanks to Joe Burrow, who’s finally back to full strength after struggling with a calf injury early in the preseason.

That’s why, following his big win over the Buffalo Bills, Skip Bayless went as far as to compare him with Tom Brady.

While this could seem like a bit of a stretch, given the fact that Brady won seven Super Bowl rings and Burrow is still looking for his first, the comparison actually makes sense.

Obviously, Burrow is far more mobile than Brady ever was, but they do have a similar demeanor on and off the field.

The Bengals had never been one of the most competitive teams in the league, and while Zac Taylor and the front office have done a great job of finding and developing talent, Burrow’s presence has been the main character behind the team’s turnaround.

And perhaps the most impressive and encouraging part about Burrow is the fact that he still has his best years ahead of him, and he’s only going to get better.

He’s unbothered and unfazed by the pressure, and he’s proven over and over that he’s going to rise to the occasion and uplift his team when it matters the most, just like Brady did when he was dominating on the field.
