A 71-year-old man was arrested for stabbing his younger ex-girlfriend, beating her with a crowbar and slaying her male friend inside a Brooklyn apartment, authorities and sources said Monday.

Sylvester Harris allegedly unleashed the savage attack between the night of Oct. 24 and the early morning of Oct. 25 inside an apartment on Willmohr Street near East 92nd Street in Brownsville, according to a criminal complaint.

Harris allegedly choked his 49-year-old former flame — who had two active orders of protection against him — before striking her with a crowbar and stabbing her multiple times, the court document states.

He also attacked her pal, James Quigley, 60, in a similar manner, pummeling him, hitting him with the crowbar and stabbing him to death, according to law enforcement sources and prosecutors.

Sylvester Harris, 71, is accused of viciously beating his ex-girlfriend, 49, and her male friend, 60 — killing him — inside a Brownsville apartment.

Quigley was pronounced dead at the scene, while Harris’ ex-girlfriend was hospitalized at Brookdale University Hospital and Medical Center, where she was listed in stable condition, cops said.

The two orders of protection his ex-girlfriend obtained against him were issued on July 26 and Aug. 1, and were set to expire in January and February of next year, according to the complaint.

Harris was arrested Friday and arraigned in Brooklyn Criminal Court on Saturday on charges of murder, attempted murder, criminal obstruction of breathing or blood circulation, criminal possession of a weapon and criminal contempt.

He was ordered held without bail by a Brooklyn judge, and is set to return to court on Thursday, prosecutors said.
