The Houston Texans have played well in their first season under C.J. Stroud.

A big part of his success has been his rookie counterpart at wide receiver, Tank Dell.
The Texans’ official account recently highlighted Dell’s greatness thus far, as he is second on their all-time list in receiving yards through seven career games.

Dell overtook Hopkins for second place on this list, putting up nearly 40 more yards than the now-elite veteran.
If Hopkins truly likes what he sees, Dell could be an impactful NFL receiver for years to come.
Hopkins has been in the league for a long time and knows what it takes to make it in the NFL as a receiver.
Dell’s impact has been surprising to some, especially his doubters from when the Texans drafted him in the first place.
He is one of the smaller players at the position, measuring in at 5’10” and 165 pounds.
Despite his size and pre-draft uncertainty, Dell has been able to overcome all odds, turning into a solid receiver in his rookie campaign.
The connection between him and Stroud is undeniable, and as long as both players stay healthy, the Texans’ dynamic duo should only get better with time.
