Analyst Shuts Down The Notion That 1 NFL HC Is On The Hot Seat

The Green Bay Packers haven’t fared well this season, which is far from a surprise.

There were multiple reports from within the organization raving about Jordan Love’s progress and how he was ready to take the reins of the team.

It looked good early in the season, but that didn’t last long.

That’s why some believe that HC Matt LaFleur could be on the hot seat after such a disappointing season.

Notaby, that’s the case with Willie Colon and Craig Carton, who, in the latest edition of The Carton Show, stated that LaFleur hasn’t helped Love become a better quarterback.

Carton stated that it’s easy to win when you have a first-ballot Hall of Famer at the QB and WR position.

Nonetheless, former NFL star Victor Cruz doesn’t think LaFleur is on the hot seat right now, or at least he should be.

Cruz states that it doesn’t make sense to give a coach just eight weeks to determine his future with a new quarterback and just expect them to figure things out right away.

The Packers have no shot at winning the division or making the playoffs this year, and there is no certainty about Jordan Love either.

LaFleur did make some questionable decisions as a coach even when Aaron Rodgers was around.

Then again, he’s earned the benefit of the doubt in the organization, so it would be a bit of a surprise to see him getting fired at the end of the season, even if they don’t win any more games this year.
