Patrick Beverley Makes Big Revelation About His Career Fines

Throughout his years in the NBA, Patrick Beverley has made a name for himself as one of the most outspoken and brazen players in the league.

He sat down with the panel on “Run It Back” and talked about his in-your-face attitude and taunts of other players.

“I’m pulling the ‘too little’ on everybody. I don’t care, I’m here to play basketball, I’m here to have fun playing basketball,” Beverley said, via ClutchPoints.

He then added that he’s paid “something like $700,000” in fines from the NBA.

Beverley currently plays for the Philadelphia 76ers, where he is averaging 2.3 points, 3.2 rebounds, and 2.1 assists.

He has previously played for the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Clippers, Minnesota Timberwolves, Los Angeles Lakers, and Chicago Bulls.

No matter where he has suited up, Beverley has never been afraid of speaking his mind and approaching and taunting opponents.

These taunts are not unnoticed by the league, who will fine Beverley when he does something that goes against their rules and regulations.

Beverley doesn’t seem to mind because it’s all part of how he plays and how he has fun.

Some players in the league seemingly become better when they can make a scene against others.

Beverley and Draymond Green of the Golden State Warriors are just two examples of that.

This is something that has happened in the NBA for decades now and it shows no signs of stopping.

Beverley and others know that for every “too little” taunt, a fine is sure to follow.

He has made peace with that and it’s obviously not stopping him from acting out on the court.
