Guitarist Yngwie Malmsteen and Rock and Roll Hall of Famer Glenn Hughes will join forces for a summer 2023 US tour. Starting in mid-August, the legendary musicians will be on the road together for five weeks.

Malmsteen will perform some of his greatest hits, while singer-bassist Hughes will perform a set focused on classic Deep Purple cuts, with an emphasis on 1974’s burn before its 50th anniversary. Hughes was a member of Deep Purple from 1973 to 1976, before becoming a frontman for Black Sabbath in the mid-’80s and releasing several solo albums throughout his career.
