The 2023 NFL Season hasn’t been what the reigning Super Bowl champions hoped for.

After a few surprising losses, the Kansas City Chiefs now have an 8-5 record, just one game ahead of the Denver Broncos in the AFC West.

Their offense is less potent than it has been in years past, allowing their opponents an opportunity to sneak out unforeseen wins.

While the Chiefs’ record isn’t as favorable as they would like, there are still a few bright spots across their roster.

The defense has outperformed expectations, and cornerback L’Jarius Sneed is putting together a career year.

As PFF has recently called out, Sneed has played 469 snaps in coverage this year and has not allowed a touchdown in any of them.

Sneed has been an impactful player on this defense throughout the year, and this statistic further demonstrates his dominance.

He remains a bright spot on a team with aspirations for a deep playoff run.

For the Chiefs to repeat as Super Bowl champions, they’ll have to get back to their elite ways of winning and fast.

The good news is that they are taking on the New England Patriots this weekend, a team that presents an opportunity for the Chiefs to get back on track.

While the Patriots still have a strong defense, their offense has seen better days.

Sneed and the rest of the defense should have a field day against this lackluster unit, once again getting back into the win column.

If Sneed continues playing the way he has throughout the year, the Chiefs will have chances to win, even against the most difficult opponents.
