At this point in the 2023 NFL season, the Las Vegas Raiders’ chances of making the NFL playoffs are slim to none, but that hasn’t stopped the team from playing hard for interim head coach Antonio Pierce.
The Raiders haven’t been knocked out of playoff contention in the AFC just yet, which has been enough to keep this team motivated and focused heading into the final three games of the regular season.
Unfortunately, the team will face the tall task of beating the defending Super Bowl champion Kansas City Chiefs on Christmas Day on the road at Arrowhead Stadium.
Even though the Raiders are coming off a historic offensive performance against the division-rival Los Angeles Chargers, with the team dropping 63 points on Brandon Staley’s former team, the Chiefs are another beast entirely.
Raiders star defensive end Maxx Crosby knows how tough the Chiefs are to beat, especially in Kansas City, and talked about the upcoming matchup recently, via Paul Gutierrez of ESPN.

The Chiefs will come into this game as heavy favorites as Patrick Mahomes and company try to finish the regular season strong and secure a top seed in the AFC.
As for Las Vegas, the team will be looking to make another strong statement with a win over their division rivals while keeping their playoff hopes alive, even though they’ll need help from other teams in order to secure their spot in the postseason as well as winning their final three games of the regular season.
