With the NFL playoffs just around the corner, sometimes, it all comes down to how good a quarterback you have.

Of course, football is a team sport, and you need to be solid at all positions to go the distance.

But sometimes, a great quarterback can be just enough to get a team over the hump in a win-or-go-home scenario.

With that in mind, NFL analyst Mike Greenberg took to ESPN’s Get Up to share the list of the five NFC QBs he has the most confidence in ahead of the postseason:

At No. 5. he chose Jared Goff of the Detroit Lions, who has already made it to the big game and has plenty of postseason experience under his belt.

Goff, however, hasn’t played at the highest level over the past month or so, but he does have the weapons to lead this team forward.

Brock Purdy made the cut at No. 4, which is something not many fans will agree with after watching him against the Baltimore Ravens.

Even so, Purdy has won most of the games he’s played in his career, and that has got to be worth something.

At No. 3, he talked about Jalen Hurts, who has regressed vastly since his career year and signing that big contract extension in the offseason.

Still, Hurts has always risen to the occasion and put his team on his shoulders when they need him the most.

Matthew Stafford was his No. 2 choice, which should be no surprise, considering his experience and talent.

Stafford has already led his team to the Super Bowl and is one of the best QBs of his generation.

Finally, he chose Dak Prescott at No. 1, which shouldn’t be a surprise after the year he had.

He still needs to prove himself at the highest level, but he’s earned the benefit of the doubt.
