Klay Thompson Makes His Thoughts Clear About Missing Draymond Green

The Golden State Warriors can’t seem to catch a break right now.

Everything that could’ve gone wrong has gone wrong for Steve Kerr’s team.

At least, it seems like Draymond Green’s return is imminent, as the former Defensive Player of the Year continues to serve an indefinite suspension and has been away from the team for more than ten games now.

That’s why Klay Thompson had a clear response after a loss to the Denver Nuggets when asked how Draymond Green could have helped them (via NBC Sports Warriors).

“I mean, everywhere.  It’s Draymond Green. He does everything,” Thompson said.

He claimed that Green could’ve been helpful in every single aspect of the game because he does everything.

He also knows just how much he means to the team, adding that everybody is so excited about his imminent return.

In hindsight, Green’s suspension could’ve been a bit of a blessing in disguise in the sense that it allowed the Warriors to give Jonathan Kuminga a longer leash, and he definitely made the most of it.

Kuminga has earned more minutes, and whether he’s going to keep starting or not remains to be seen.

The Warriors are two games below .500, and that’s unchartered territory for them.

Perhaps they’ll have to explore moving some pieces at the trade deadline.

Once they’re back to full strength and with Green back on the floor, they’ll be able to assess all their options and determine what they need to do to get over this hump and go back to dominating like they’ve always done.
