Kevin Durant Shares A Strong Message For His Critics

During his short time with the Golden State Warriors, superstar forward Kevin Durant added two NBA championships to his legacy, and he was frequently getting mentioned in the same breath as some of the greatest players of all time, even though a lot of people didn’t like him taking the easy path in the Bay Area alongside Stephen Curry and company.

With the noise getting louder and louder in the Bay Area, Durant willingly left the team and joined forces with Kyrie Irving on the Brooklyn Nets, which initially looked like a new superpower was born in the Eastern Conference.

That didn’t turn out to be the case as Durant’s stint with the Nets turned out to be a disaster, leading to another move with him being traded to the Phoenix Suns to form another superteam with Chris Paul and Devin Booker.

After trading Paul for Bradley Beal, the Suns were thought to have one of the best trios in the game, giving Durant another shot at winning a few more titles before he calls it a career.

However, the Phoenix experiment isn’t going as planned, with the team hovering around .500 rather than competing with the best of the best atop the Western Conference standings.

With frustration starting to mount in Phoenix, Durant didn’t hold back as he blasted the media for focusing on the negative regarding him and his legacy, via Ball Don’t Lie on Twitter.

As of right now, the chances of the Suns competing for an NBA title are bleak, to say the least, as the team can’t seem to get on track, even when all three of their superstars are healthy and playing.

It’ll be interesting to see where this team goes and if any moves are made ahead of the NBA trade deadline in order to help right the ship in Phoenix.
